Ashanti Declares Video Not a Kiss-Off to Nelly
Ashanti gives a cheating ex his comeuppance in her dramatic video for "The Way That I Love You." Some have wondered if the clip is a big kiss-off to purported boo Nelly. "It's not!" insists the singer. "The song is just about real life. It's for every woman who has gone through it." So are Ashanti and Nelly an item? "We're really, really good friends," she clarifies. Ashanti's fourth disc, The Declaration, hits stores June 3.
